In the questionnaire you filled out in the beginning of this series, in the area of Energy, you rated yourself what # out of 10?
So let’s discuss:
1 . Are you happy with your level of mental and physical energy each day? Why or why not?
2 . If you decided to have more energy and get in the best health of your life this year, what habits would you start right away?
3. What could you do on an ongoing basis to help yourself renew more often and recover from stress?
THIS 1 HIGH PERFORMANCE HABIT ADDS PEACE & CALM TO YOUR DAY
First, set an intention to calm ourselves down and really sense and relax into this moment. If you’re standing right now, try sitting down for this activity.
Take 10 deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth, sensing your body. Then 2 minutes with eyes closed in silence repeating in your mind the word, "Release". Ready? Ok, Go!
So how's that feel?
THIS 1 HABIT RE-ENERGIZES YOUR DAY.
Take 20 forced breaths in and out through the nose, mouth closed, smiling, jumping and clapping the whole time. At the end of these, clap 5 more times saying' "I'm ready!" each clap.
How'd that feel to you?
When you're at work, try incorporating the 10 deep breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth while jumping or squatting with your eyes closed. This will keep you energized on the hour every hour at work.
Remember, these tools work and are based on neuroscience & how the brain/body connection work!
I encourage you to use these habits or develop your own. Write them down and practice them every day, okay?
